Lots of great stuff!
Great tool for opening the door to more options for employment and less “workshops”
Great Class
This class was very informative and was taught by individuals who share a passion for assisting individuals with disabilities.
From Workshops to Workplaces
It was very interesting to hear of some of the struggles and victories other agencies have had with the closure of workshops in their communities. I was very impressed with the panels expertise’s and knowledge and enjoy learning from others who have experienced some of the many challenges and struggles of “Achieving the Goals of Employment First” and always enjoy hearing about the celebrations!
Good information, Poor Compatibility
Perhaps it was my computer, or the agencies internet, but I had to click through all the videos in order to watch the one I was on, this was very bothersome. Otherwise, I liked the content, and appreciated the range of different presenters.
Review
I had to click through to get to the video I had left off on. Also videos kept stopping and “loading”. Overall good material.
From Workshop to Workplaces: Achieving the Goals of Employment First
Information was good but videos did not load well. Some units contained more substantial information than others but it was nice to get perspective from professionals that have already begun implementing the challenges of WIOA. This was a good “where do we start” training presented by leaders in the field of disability. Well worth the time for those just beginning to grasp the Employment First movement.
From Workshops to Workplace: Achieving the Goals of Employment First
I experienced the same issues with having to click through to get to the unit I wanted. I also experienced multiple buffering in the middle of the course as well as “bounce back” in the audio. With that being said, I REALLY enjoyed the content and the presenters were very well versed in their areas. I believe this course is an EXCELLENT foundation for both those preparing for those new to Customized Employment work, preparing to take the CESP exam and those needing a refresher and/or update on newer trends in employment. I look forward to more of such type courses.
