Ryan Aldrich, CESP
After a two-year term as Connecticut chapter president, I was elected to the national board of directors for APSE, the only national membership organization with an exclusive focus on competitive employment for all individuals with disabilities, regardless of level of disability. In my role, I conduct regular meetings and maintain communication with employment service professionals in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont. As opportunity allows, I travel throughout these states to represent the board at state chapter events and conferences. I have also served on committees focused on APSE’s chapter development and re-branding strategy, where, respectively, I am working to establish a new chapter in New Hampshire, and collaborate with others on a brand new logo and tag line for APSE. My future goal in this role is to focus on legislative activities and keeping the Employment First movement in front of policy makers both in the northeastern United States and nationally.
